I love a good thunderstorm. Tonight’s was quite lovely. We sat and watched the hail, the downpour, the lightening. The thunder is still rumbling out there rendering everything else quiet. I think I’m going to sleep well tonight.

I’ll be starting another real, paint-on-wall mural this week or next. It won’t look like this but the design is from the same book. It’s a big wall, a bit treacherous. It will be hot outside. I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been wonderful to get back to work (very safely and physically distant from everyone but Devin, I promise). I love work. If you love work, I hope you still can. If not, I’m sending you my best and most positive energy.

Day sky, night sky. I think this describes my relationship with time these days, especially on the weekends. The clock has disappeared and we only have day time and night time, or in my world, coffee time and wine time. 😏
Sometimes I get a little confused and start wine time during coffee time, and honestly, I don’t hate it. #selfcare right?

I’m repeating mockup design concepts because I’m tired. I’m utterly and wonderfully exhausted in fact. I’ve been back up on scaffolding painting again and man, I’ve missed mural work. We have one more day to go, so until we’re finished here’s another rainbow. I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the beautiful weather doing something that you love. Shine on!

The one thing I’ve loved about work drastically slowing down during lockdown is the time to play around with new styles and ideas. Sometimes I really love them. Sometimes I really don’t.
